Avatec®

Avatec® for the prevention of coccidiosis in poultry caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mivati, E. maxima, E. meleagrimitis, E. gallopavonis, E. adenoeides and E. legionensis.

  • o   Each kilogram contains 150 g (15%) of lasalocid sodium activity in a carrier suitable for incorporation in feed.

    • For the prevention of coccidiosis in broiler chickens, growing turkeys and chukar partridges
    • Prevents coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mivati, E. maxima, E. meleagrimitis, E. gallopavonis, E. adenoeides and E. legionensis
    • Avatec 150 g premix should be thorough mixed into feed at inclusion rate within the range 500 to 830 g per ton of complete feedstuffs in order to provide 75 to 125 g lasalocid sodium in the finished feed. When adding less than one kilogram of premix per ton of feed, it is recommended that the premix first be mixed with a small amount of feed (10 – 25 kg) prior to incorporation into the final feed.

     As an aid in prevention of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. mivati and E. maxima

    • Store in a protected location, avoid excessive heat and keep package closed to avoid contamination
    • Avatec is packaged in a 20 Kg, multiwall paper bag with protective barrier ply
    • Expiration period is 36 months from the date of manufacture (package indicates expiration date)
    • Do not allow horses or other equines access to feed containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal
    • Chickens, turkeys may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 5 days from the last treatment
