BMD® soluble

BMD® Soluble is a water-soluble powder of the antibiotic bacitracin methylene disalicylate, with a carrier and an anti-caking agent. BMD Soluble contains 50 grams bacitracin activity per 100 gram of material, equivalent to 21,000 units bacitracin per gram.

    As an aid in control of necrotic enteritis.

    To control an outbreak, start medication at first clinical signs of

    disease. Consult a diagnostic laboratory or veterinarian to

    determine the diagnosis and for advice regarding the optimal drug

    level. For necrotic enteritis in broiler and replacement chickens,

    administer continuously for 5-7 days as long as symptoms persist,

    then reduce medication to prevention levels (25 mg/L).
