USES:Indicated for the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle associated with Staphyloccoccus species such as Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus species such as Streptococcusagalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae and Streptococcus uberis.

  • SUPPLIED

    Packs of 12 and 144 – 10mL disposable syringes (50 mg pirlimycin hydrochloride per syringe) with individually wrapped isopropyl alcohol pads.

    •For antibiotic treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle.

    •Only mastitis treatment that is FDA-approved for clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating dairy cows.

    •Once-a-day administration.         

    •Unique extended therapy label (2-8 days of treatment).

  • IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

    •36 hour milk withhold required following last treatment.

    •9 day pre-slaughter withdrawal required after last treatment when used for 2 days.

    •21 day pre-slaughter withdrawal required after last treatment when used for 3-8 days.

    •Inappropriate dosage or treatment intervals with Pirsue and/or failure to adhere to proper milk discard period will result in violative milk residues. As with all drugs, Pirsue should not be used in animals found to be hypersensitive to the product.
