USES:
Orbenin Extra Dry Cow is recommended for routine use in cows at drying off, to treat existing intramammary infections and to provide prolonged protection against new infections during the dry period. Orbenin is bactericidal in action and is not destroyed by staphylococcal beta-lactamase. It is, therefore, active against penicillin-resistant Staphylococci which are an important cause of mastitis

Orbenin Extra Dry Cow is available in buckets of 24 and 120 syringes

•Long Acting: The combined effects of the relatively insoluble benzathine salt and the long activity base give an extended period of action of 7 weeks in the dry cow.
•Non Irritant: The antibiotic is bactericidal, causing the death of the organisms at the concentrations produced and it is non-irritant to the udder tissues.
•Proven Efficacy: Orbenin Extra Dry Cow has been proven in many dry cow therapy trials.

•Treatment to be at least 42 days before calving.
•Orbenin Extra Dry Cow must not be used for the treatment of the lactating cow. If a lactating cow is accidentally infused, milk must be withheld from the bulk supply for 46days or less time if testing shows cloxacillin residues below the MRL of 0.03 mcg/ml.
•As with all drugs, Orbenin Extra DC should not be used in animals found to be hypersensitive to the product.
